Mirror,Mirror on the Wall....

Mirror,Mirror on the Wall...who ever owns this bed is the "fairest of them all"
An Old mirror used as a Headboard!
What an inspirational idea.
The mirror is not only the focal point in the room but allows so much more light in.

Goatmilk Soap...

My husband brought me home a wonderful surprise...
One of my favorites, Goat Milk Soap!
I am not sure if you have ever used goat milk soap but to me it is like
going to the SPA every single night & it makes my skin very soft- ADDICTING!
He bought it from a local in our area that has a goat farm.... if you get a chance, check them out,

Ceiling Tin....

When we built the house, we wanted to add some "old-home character" throughout so we put ceiling tin on the breakfast room ceiling & we absolutely love it. It gives the room lots of depth and also the bronze color links in with the kitchen.
After the completion of the project, we had quite a bit of the ceiling tin left over, so I thought.. what could we do with that?(it was sitting in a pile in the garage)
And then it came to me...
I can't wait to show you what we did with the left-over tin..and it really will probably surprise you but I promise you will love it! Because we both work full-time, this is a weekend project so I hope we can complete it in the next few weekends.....we will see!

Valentine Chandelier

My Mother-N-Law at Framed and Tagged made me these adorable sheet music cones. I then added the Cute Little Heart Valentine Tags that I purchased from JaneSays Etsy store, check it out- she has lots of fun stuff! A little red filler was added and then I placed them on the chandelier in the breakfast room with brown ribbon.....so ROMANTIC.
Happy Valentine's Day to you and your LOVED ONES!

The Old Farmtable

Our side porch is pretty much the place we hang out when the weather permits. It is considered our "outdoor living-room" Here, I placed an old farmtable that I bought in Canton a few years ago. These pics were taken this past October when we were creating a display for the boutique so that is why there is so much on the table. I usually keep a wire basket filled with flowers in the middle and candles on both sides! We have really enjoyed the old farmtable and eat lot's of dinners on it!

Say "Cheese"

My lil' photographer, Ty Allen loves his new Fisher Price camera. He is learning how to look at
his on screen display (just like a real camera) and then says the magic word, CHEESE!
The great thing about the camera is it really works and takes pretty good pictures.
The only negative thing is that it EATS Batteries & he gets very frustrated when that happens!

My little man, Ty Allen

Oh, So Sweet...I just found these pictures that were taken a year ago at my mother-n-laws home. My little man,Ty Allen was just 2 years old then & has always loved being outdoors.
Now at 3, Ty Allen loves to help with all of our outdoor projects. This past week,he helped daddy paint a birdhouse red and then put out the birdfeed in all of the birdfeeders. When I arrived home, Ty said mommy, we have a suprise for you and showed me the red birdhouse! He was so excited to show me what he had done! Don't you just love little ones, they just paint so much love in our hearts!!

Home Sweet Home

After a 6 day business trip away from my family and a 5 hour plane ride back into East Texas, I was Mentally & Physically Exhausted. Needless to say....as I pulled through our driveway home, I jumped out of the car looking for my husband and son who had not yet arrived home. I then decided to walk to the gate and meet them so I headed down the drive.....As I started walking,I began to get tears in my eyes! I took a deep breath in and raised both of my hands. I then out loud started THANKING GOD FOR ALL THAT HE HAS BLESSED ME WITH! I was thanking him for the beauty of the trees, the birds, the beautiful blue skies & the ponds beautiful view! I was thanking him for my son and my husband and other gracious family and friends! Our Health and our jobs. The list went on and on.....
I guess when you love something and are away from it for a few days, it's always in your heart...
but it sure felt good getting "hugs & kisses" when they arrived home!
Thank your God for HUGS & KISSES!
HOME,SWEET HOME!
