Sheet music Christmas table...
I am loving sheet music as I have used the cones made by my MIL last year for my silverware, vintage sheet music ornaments found in an antique store and some old Kellogg's memory albums with various songs placed around the table. I even bought some plain candles at Walmart, sprayed them with glue and wrapped old sheet pages around them. So simple, yet so elegant!

A little TIME away...
Well, what can I say except that things have just been really busy and crazy so I have just not had much time to blog.
I wanted to show you a few fun things I have done with some new clocks, an old metal box and some precious cream hydrangeas.
Have a wonderful week!

The Salon Remodel...almost complete!
The Salon Remodel is almost complete and WOW, does it look different. I was asked to create a design of modern/contemporary in an old Physician office building that was build in the 40's and I promised this building had NOT been updated at all since then. There were patient rooms all down a very long skinny hall and the owner and I decided to open it up and give people "breathing room". I decided to go with a gray on the walls and zircon silver on the ceiling with an emphasis on 3 wow factors. #1, the wallpaper at the entrance and #2, the floors. Please excuse the pic in the left top corner (contractors were still working) but I had to get a shot of our floor design. The design is a black floor with a large "red- carpet" like design. We hung crystal chandeliers down the runway and I will definitely take pics after completion so you can see them. #3 the red chairs. BTW, this remodel also consisted of a spa on the opposite side that is almost complete and a clothing boutique in the front so I promise more pics to come...

Going up,up,up!
Well, these lights are going up as I type....one of my close friends and her husband are remodeling a family home that was passed down to them and the last few months, we have gutted, re-designed and picked out every little thing as if it were a new home. The sconces are going up on her dining room walls along with the chandelier, sigh....above her beautiful Italian distressed table! These lights have the most amazing cream distressed beads that are just gorgeous. The double black pendant light will be above her black distressed island with a backdrop of distressed cream cabinets, old brick and bead board! I cannot wait to show you before and after pics, hopefully very soon. In the meantime, have a fabulous weekend!

Office Inspiration..
I am in the process of a design project for an office and found some great Inspirational Pics. Because alot of us spend so much time in our office, I love the idea of surrounding yourself with the things you love..including artwork, a rug, a few family photos,a great chair. Together, you create an ambiance that you will be inspired by which will make you feel right at home.

Wallpaper is BACK!
I am doing a remodel for a Salon/Spa in town and so I visited the wallpaper store to see what we could place in the entrance....and yep, I am loving the idea of wallpaper in an entrance or guest bath. It just makes a statement and so I can't wait to show pics when we get the paper up!
I think you will be surprised!

Looking at Life from Behind....
My boys, Ty Allen & Ridge, photo taken by MIL
Right now I am experiencing a little Anxiety...I mean alot of Anxiety. When this anxiety arrives, I have discovered that if I just sit back and look at what blessings I have, especially my 2 precious boys that just love life, love each other, love mommy and daddy and love the peace of happiness. Blessings are all around me! Sometimes I just need to take a step back, take a Deep Breath and look at life from behind.
