Looking at Life from Behind....

My boys, Ty Allen & Ridge,photo taken by MIL
Right now I am experiencing a little Anxiety...I mean alot of Anxiety. When this anxiety arrives, I have discovered that if I just sit back and look at what blessings I have, especially my 2 precious boys that just love life, love each other, love mommy and daddy and love the peace of happiness. Blessings are all around me! Sometimes I just need to take a step back, take a Deep Breath and look at life from behind.
Matthew 16:34 "do not worry about tomorrow for it will take of itself"

  4. Miss Jena-
    When that anxiety hits me- and it hits us all- regardless of our age- I remind myself that
    a. It is not happening today.

    b. To do the next right thing-which may be washing the dishes

    and

    c. I recite the Jesus prayer.

    You are blessed,

  5. What a cute picture of your boys. Sometimes it is good just to sit and rest in the Lord's loving care. I hope your anxiety subsides.

  6. Jena, your boys are just adorable. I love that photo of them. I understand about anxiety and sometimes it can just creep right in and bury itself straight into the heart and takes away your energy and breath. God doesn't want us to fret. When I feel a bit overwhelmed, I take a moment to have some quiet time with our Father and to ask him to lift my burdens from my heart. Breath deeply and exhale slowly. God does help. I hope you are ok.

  7. anxiety does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow, but only empties today of its strength...

    {{easy for me to say~i take every day one anxiety attack at a time <3 }}

  8. Jena...you have provided a gem of wisdom within the string of pearls. Looking back not to yearn the "good ole days" but looking back at troubled times and realizing that you were carried throughout the time and the dark clouds lifted is reassurance that what is being dealt in the present shall also pass.

  9. Amen! I have memorized, "be anxious for nothing but by prayer and supplication, let your requesets be made known unto God and the PEACE of God that passes all understanding will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
    As a side, your boys are precious and you have such a gift...thank you for sharing it.
