Old Silver....

My MIL and I had a wonderful time at Canton as we ran upon a couple of guys who had just recently cleaned out an old farmhouse and had lots of great treasures including these 3 silver pieces I bought!
I am just really starting to get addicted to the old silver because it goes great with any style and can be placed anywhere!

  1. It is beautiful. I have several old pieces that I inherited. Guess they better come out of the closet.

  4. Tell me, how are you displaying all your silver...I recently came across an article about how all these lovely foreign countries disply their silver - but they didn't tell me HOW!

  5. Great finds! I started a collection of silver pieces as well. Most of mine are tarnished really bad...don't know if I should clean them up or leave them alone...what do you think?

    Peace and Blessings~

  14. I love those pieces. Now I'm thinking an old silver compote or candy dish would be a perfect resting place for the number spheres that are on their way to me from Coldwater Creek!

  16. Love your pics and the silver "pretties" that you found. I too am finding myself attracted to aged, unpolished silver with black and coffee whites.
    Love your blog!
