OK, who HEARTS old trucks?

WOW, what a great feeling I get inside every time I see one of these old trucks, you know that feeling..the "I want it disease".

I remember when my cousins and I would pile up in the back of my Papa's truck & go for a ride on an old back road in the country.. spring air blowing with the windows down....what a great memory!    I also am inspired by these old beauties and there is just so much you can do with one...a party, a nap, a photo prop, a long country ride..they just make me Happy, Happy, Happy!

Vintage Book Pages Guest Bath....

So tonight I had a plan...I waited until my husband took Ty to the movies and Ridge went to bed. I then ran out to the garage (with monitor) in a dash and piled up the following items: old books, spray glue, scissors, staple gun and bubble wrap strips. I first measured the walls and then cut my bubble wrap in strips.  I then sprayed the bubble wrap with spray glue and stacked the old vintage book pages across. Finally, I placed the bubble wrap with vintage pages on my wall and stapled the ends...

When Joe and Ty returned from the movies, I was done.

Old vintage book pages really made this room look so much better and

I promise if I can do this, anybody can do this!

A new venture....

OK, well it has been really busy lately so I have not yet announced that Not So Shabby now has a booth in downtown Henderson at The Mustard Seed ... so if you happen to come this way, please try to  stop in and visit the booth. The booth is the first one on the left with a variety of home decor, antiques, bedding and accessories so I am sure you will find something that you cannot live without!
